Warm Traditional 2-Bedroom Home in San Gabriel
A two-bedroom home in San Gabriel with pale floors, warm wood pieces and teal velvet drapes tying the rooms together.
The brief
This is a house in San Gabriel. The photos show an open living room, a kitchen with a peninsula, a dining area, two furnished bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Cozy Palette furnished the whole home. Each bedroom has one bed.
The concept
The home has pale plank floors and white walls, so we brought in warmth with wood: a carved armoire, a pine media shelf and oak and cherry dressers. Teal velvet drapes repeat in the dining area and both bedrooms to tie the house together, and floral prints keep it soft.
Furniture here is about easy care. The leather sofa wipes clean, the dining chairs have washable seat cushions, and both bedrooms use simple upholstered beds with white bedding that is easy to launder.
